Six months at City Plaza – four days of celebrations 10-13 November 2016

For the past six months, the center of Athens has been home to solidarity, brotherhood, self-organization, hope for a new world. For the past six months, City Plaza hotel, which remained shut for six years, has been turned into a model Refugee Accommodation Space. An autonomous and self-managed initiative, proving every day that refugees and locals can live together inside our cities, can struggle together for our rights, can win together in the common struggle against racism and exploitation.

To celebrate the first six months at City Plaza, we are running a four-day cycle of events from 10 until 13 November. To take stock of our experiences and to plan further actions; to analyze the anti refugee policy pursued by the EU and the Greek government; to trace the networks of resistance; to celebrate the joy of resistance and creativity.

We look forward to seeing you at 78 Acharnon!
